Personal growth within music is something that I have always stressed about in order to create new things and become what some consider, “out of your league” or something they’ve never seen, heard, or felt before. Since 2021 I’ve realized growth is something you cannot force, but is developed naturally. In the past, I have struggled in rhyme schemes, finding a flow, and putting the right words next to one another. Now I am exposed to so many different sources of music, it’s an unconscious effort to diversify myself as much as possible. A lot of the music I’ve made is circled around my real life, thoughts, situations, and opinions. With that knowledge and a driving force to paint a picture through audio, DBA was made.
